Cluster Manager

Position Overview

Permanent, full‑time, daytime position working Monday to Friday. Salary ranging from £95,000.00 to £ per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus a car allowance and a bonus.

• Account Ownership & Governance: Own overall operational performance, stability, and delivery across the cluster; ensure consistent execution of operating models, standards, and commitments across all sites; provide clear, data‑driven insight into performance, risks, and recovery actions.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the key escalation and leadership interface for senior stakeholders; build strong relationships through transparency, control, and delivery; provide regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Operational Performance: Drive performance across safety, service, productivity, cost, quality, and inventory; challenge site performance and ensure effective recovery plans are in place; align capacity, labour, systems, and infrastructure with business needs.
• Risk & Assurance: Identify and manage operational and commercial risks proactively; ensure issues are resolved at root cause, not just locally; provide assurance on operational stability and control.
• Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Site Managers; drive consistency, accountability, and collaboration across sites; build capability and succession within the leadership team.
• Strategy & Change: Translate strategy into clear, executable plans; lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives; ensure change is delivered consistently and sustainably.
• Health & Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the cluster; ensure full compliance with legal and internal standards; monitor and manage safety performance and risks.

• Senior operational and commercial leader responsible for multi‑site performance and delivery.
• Accountable for driving consistency, governance, and operational excellence across the cluster.
• Trusted stakeholder partner, operating as key interface between sites, leadership, and clients.
• Strong focus on performance management across safety, service, cost, quality, and productivity.
• Experienced in identifying risks and implementing proactive, structured solutions.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing site leadership teams.
• Skilled in translating strategy into clear, actionable operational plans.
• Driven by continuous improvement, transformation, and operational optimisation.
• Strong advocate of Health & Safety, compliance, and best practice standards.
• Data‑driven, commercially aware, and results‑focused.
