Trainee Wirer

Location:

Leicestershire (commutable from Lutterworth, Rugby, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Blaby) Pay Rate: 12.66 per hour

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

This well-established business manufactures bespoke mechanical and electrical products for clients nationwide. As a recognised market leader with a strong and growing order book, they are expanding their production team and are now looking to recruit two Trainee Wirers to train alongside experienced professionals.

About the Role

As a Trainee Wirer, you will work closely with experienced staff in the electronics/PCB department, gaining hands-on experience with wiring and assembling electronic products. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wiring and assembling electronic components onto PCB assemblies
  • Soldering and terminating cables and connectors

  • Labelling and identifying wiring in line with schematic diagrams

  • Working from electronic schematics and assembly drawings

  • Inspecting completed assemblies for quality and accuracy

  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and cleanliness

About You:

  • Interested in electronics and keen to learn PCB assembly

  • A good team player who can also work independently when required

  • Keen to learn and develop new technical skills

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed

  • Looking for a long-term role with progression opportunities
