About Covertec Structures
Covertec Structures is a family-run manufacturer based in Lutterworth. Manufacturing bespoke weather protection products, predominantly within the agricultural sector and now branching out into the outdoor living / hospitality sector. Farming is the biggest part of the business with many loyal customers coming back time and time again. The business has taken on a new direction and focus with the next generation now stepping into the day-to-day and scaling up is high on the agenda.
The role
As Internal Sales Executive, you'll pick up warm leads generated by the marketing team and turn them into orders. This isn't a hunting role: it's about building genuine relationships with farming customers, understanding what they need, and guiding them through to a sale. You'll be office-based, working closely with a small, close-knit team. You will also be dealing with the general public who are looking to improve their outdoor living spaces alongside large corporates who are creating outdoor dining areas.
You'll:
Handle inbound enquiries and warm leads passed over by marketing
Build rapport with farming customers, many of whom you'll speak to regularly
Understand customer requirements and match them to the right product
Quote on enquiries and follow up to convert them into confirmed orders
Feed customer insight back into the marketing and product conversation
Keep accurate records of leads and conversations in the company's CRM
What you'll bring
Essential:
Proven experience in a sales, account management, or customer-facing role
A track record of converting enquiries into sales or managing a pipeline
Comfortable learning and working within a CRM or similar sales system
Useful, not essential:
Exposure to farming, agriculture, or rural industries
Experience selling technical or manufactured products
Background in B2B sales
