Class 1 Driver

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for well-established client based in Lutterworth.

The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with average 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.

2 3 days guaranteed over the weekend, with additional work available during weekdays.

Rates of Pay: PAYE (including holiday pay).

The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.

Day rate - £17.26 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).

Afternoon rate - £19.27 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).

Night rate - £20.18 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:

- HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)

- At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver

- Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.

- Valid Driver s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
