Class 1 Driver

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Lutterworth.

The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with an average of 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections. 2-3 days available over the weekend with additional work available during weekdays.

Rates of Pay: PAYE

The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.

• Day rate - £15.41 p/h 06:00-13:59 (14:00 afternoon rate applies).
• Afternoon rate - £17.20 p/h 14:00-21:59 (22:00 night rate applies).
• Night rate - £18.01 p/h 22:00-05:59 (06:00 day rate applies).

Additional Information:

• Paid assessment is required.
• Fully paid breaks.
• Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.

To be considered for the vacancy you will need to meet the following criteria:

• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE).
• At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver.
• Experience of driving a refrigerator unit preferred.
• Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
