Class 1 Driver - PAYE & LTD Drivers Welcome!
The RoleHire Giant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV1 Driver to work with our client based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. This is an ongoing role doing 2-4 deliveries per day; you may have the odd collection/back‑load. This is long‑distance work so you will be required to stay away tramping in the truck all week.
Your Responsibilities As a HGV1 Driver Will Include- Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
- Driving the class 1 curtainside trailer in a safe manner
- No handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New Pass LGV1 – Drivers welcome; training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
- Start time 06:00am
- Shifts:
10‑12 hours depending on route - PAYE Pay rate: £17.50 - £18.50 per hour
- Night out fee £25.00 per night out
- Weekly pay, every Friday
