FM Conway is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team. In this vital role you’ll help protect communities and maintain essential infrastructure. You will work as part of a two-person crew at the front line of drainage operations, from drain cleaning and clearance to repair and maintenance. Using specialised vehicles and equipment, you’ll help ensure water flows freely through drainage systems, preventing flooding, minimising disruption, and supporting a healthier environment.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
- Carrying out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.
- Responding promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systems as part of routine operations or urgent interventions.
- Accurately recording and reporting all work carried out, including identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow‑up.
- Using our app‑based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos and videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.
We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC. You should enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety. Previous experience in the drainage industry is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate.
