General Warehouse Operative; off shifts

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Warehouse Operative to join our Lutterworth team, supporting a busy retail warehouse operation in a modern, fast‑paced environment. This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.

This is a full‑time, permanent position working 12‑hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including weekends, from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am.

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 5 degrees. You will also be operating in a high‑level racking environment of up to 14 metres, so confidence and experience using a Reach Truck at height is essential.

£28,289.76 per annum plus allowances:
Attendance Allowance (£1,000 per year) and Banked hours allowance (£1,500 per year).

• Operating a PPT and a Reach Truck (FLT) to move stock safely and efficiently.
• Confidently working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance.
• Loading, unloading, and picking of stock and orders within the chilled warehouse.
• Loading and unloading different types of trailers using an RF Gun to scan pallets.
• Assembling customer orders from the order profile.
• Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked.
• Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

• A valid PPT truck licence is essential.
• A valid D1 or D2 Reach Truck licence is essential, along with previous Reach Truck operating experience. Internal or external licences will be considered.
• For candidates with the right attitude and experience we are happy to consider training to ensure you have the correct PPT and Reach Truck licences.
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast‑paced operation.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
