Medallion signature guarantees are still handled almost entirely offline — banks, physical stamps, in-person verification, paper trails. Our client is building the fast, reliable, online alternative: certifying identity and validating private stock transfers in a space just starting to feel pressure from blockchain-based ownership models. They're a small team by design — real ownership from day one, and outsized impact for the right person.

Our client exists to make medallion signature guarantees fast, reliable, and easy to get — for individuals handling an estate or a stock transfer, and for the institutions that require the guarantee before they'll act. We're a small, growing team, which means the person in this role has real ownership over how the business runs day to day, and a direct hand in shaping it as we scale.

About the Role

In this role, you'll independently review incoming stamping requests, verify identity and signature authority, and approve and execute medallion guarantees for the majority of cases that come through our doors — escalating only the cases that call for it. As one of our first hires, you'll also help build the systems, procedures, and playbooks this business runs on as we grow.

This isn't a role for someone who wants everything already figured out. This isn't an opportunity for someone who wants a large, structured corporate environment with everything already mapped out. Responsibilities

• You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Own:
  Independently review and approve medallion stamping requests across both our NYSB and websitechannels. You'll be the one making the call on most cases, start to finish, without waiting on sign-off.
• Judge:
  Evaluate documentation for legal sufficiency — trust agreements, corporate resolutions, powers of attorney, stock powers — and determine whether a requestor holds proper signature authority before a stamp isissued.
• Protect:
  Understand the liability a medallion guarantee carries, and know exactly when a case needs to beescalated — high-risk situations or anything over $250,000 — versus when it's yours to close out.
• Build:
  You won't just follow our procedures — you'll help write them. As one of our first hires, you'll shape SOPs, build new processes, and find ways to drive efficiency and support volume growth as we scale from the ground up.

• You have some exposure to legal, financial, or identity-sensitive documentation — paralegal, notary,compliance, bank operations, title/escrow, or similar. A few months, part-time, or internship-level experience is enough.
• You have flexibility in your schedule to support a small, fast-moving business as it grows.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with medallion signature guarantees, securities transfer, or an existing Florida notary commission is a real plus, though not required.
