Job Title:
Part Time VPK Assistant
Salary Range: $15/hour to $17/hour
Job Responsibilities and Duties- Assistant in implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Creates a learning environment, which is safe and child friendly
- Demonstrates cultural diversity in the classroom
- Assistant in gathering observation and screening data to guide instructional decisions
- Adapts the learning environment to meet the needs of the children
- Uses appropriate guidance strategies
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment
- Comply with licensing requirements and program guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- 40 Hours DCF required childcare training
- 5 Hours DCF approved early literacy training
- Infant and Child First Aid and CPR Certification
- 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Must pass a Level II background screening.
