Key Responsibilities- Review construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate drywall, framing, demo, finishing, and ACT estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop competitive bid proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist management on currently awarded projects from pre‑construction through close‑out. Support project manager.
- Process, submit, and track change orders to maintain project timelines and profitability.
- Coordinate with superintendents and field crews to ensure project execution aligns with expectations.
- Take initiative to solve problems and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Embrace increasing levels of responsibility with potential for advancement into senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating.
- Strong understanding of drywall, framing, finishing systems, and ACT assemblies.
- Proficiency in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Dependable and self‑motivated with a career‑driven mindset.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, coworkers, and contractors.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Competitive base salary ($60,000‑$80,000) plus performance‑based bonuses.
