AWS Cloud Engineer

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and secure enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure in Lutz, FL.

Position Summary :
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS services, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ), Dev Ops, automation, networking, and cloud security.

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, EBS, and load balancing.
• Configure and manage AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Develop and automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and IaC .
• Implement Dev Ops practices, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate cloud operations using Python, Power Shell, and AWS CLI.
• Manage AWS security and governance using IAM, Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub, and Guard Duty.
• Configure SSO, MFA, federation, and cross‑account access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Systems Manager, and AWS Backup.
• Support AWS landing zones, disaster recovery, resiliency, and cost optimization.
• Apply AWS Well‑Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) best practices.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7-10+ years of relevant IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on AWS infrastructure and networking experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, IaC , Git, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience scripting with Python, Power Shell, or AWS CLI.
• Knowledge of AWS security, IAM, governance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud architecture and multi‑account environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
