Job Summary:

The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.

The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness supporting traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with company policies, labor standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.

The OL participates in task management by planning and executing daily/weekly zone workloads and assigning tasks to meet store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement targets, ensuring timely completion.

The Operations Lead supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and overall customer experience to ensure effective and profitable store operations.

The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal.

The Operations Lead communicates and trains team members via daily interactions and team huddles to enhance the customer experience.

The OL manages freight processes for incoming freight and transitions, including stocking, down stocking, and maintaining organized, clean store conditions.

Performs other duties as needed based on business requirements.

Availability during nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications & Competencies:

At least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, or team lift 100 lbs.
Effective working independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail in standards, processes, and marketing.
Reliable, trustworthy, and ethical role model, committed to doing the right thing for team members, customers, and the company.
Creates a sense of urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately, and motivates self and others to achieve objectives with timely and thorough execution.
