Rental Account Manager – Dobbs Equipment, LLC
Dobbs Equipment is seeking a Rental Account Manager. This position will be responsible for the rental of all new and used John Deere equipment and all allied products distributed by Dobbs Equipment. The Rental Account Manager will be responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential clients to grow the rental market share in their given territory.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Rent and promote the entire product line distributed by Dobbs Rental.
- Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding rental revenue targets set by the Manager.
- Grow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase rental market share.
- Prospecting and cold calling to increase customer base and market presence.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers at the store or by phone.
- Responsible for utilizing rental lead platform, calling on all contractors and sub‑contractors in territory.
- Maintain a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the time spent in the field and the office and provide this schedule to the Manager.
- Track all quotes including jobs won, pending, lost and developing in CRM.
- Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and promotions.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Equipment Sales experience.
- Equipment Rental Sales experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or a minimum of 1‑year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Must be able to self‑manage/self‑motivate.
- PC literate, proficient with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Outlook and CRM platforms.
- Bilingual a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

- The employee is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
