We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our aggregates and C&D post-collection team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills with the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment. Must be capable of operating equipment for testing and repair verification.
** Key Responsibilities
** Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including after-treatment systems (DEF, DPF, SCR, EGR). Perform hydraulic system repairs — cylinder replacement, pin & bushing replacement, hose and fitting repairs. Troubleshoot and repair A/C and D/C electrical systems. Use on-board software diagnostic tools for fault detection and repair. Perform welding and fabrication for equipment and component repairs. Maintain, service, and repair Komatsu, CAT, and other heavy equipment used in aggregates and C&D operations Follow company safety and maintenance standards.
** Qualifications
* * 3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience, preferably in aggregates, recycling, or C&D environments. Strong background in hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.

Experience with after-treatment diagnostics required. Class A or B CDL a plus. Welding and fabrication skills preferred. Familiarity with diagnostic software (CAT ET, Komatsu KDP, JD Service Advisor, Cummins Insite, etc.) a plus. Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.
