Overview
After school Youth Soccer Coach - Entertain young children while playing soccer and being active.
We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach who will lead children ages K-5th grade in fun and educational soccer activities. Our coaches are super-fun, energetic, upbeat, positive, and love to entertain young kids. The Soccer Coach plays a crucial role in creating a positive and joyful soccer experience for children. Coaches not only coach the game, but help to foster a love for sports while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in a supportive environment.
New coaches can work 3-10 classes a week (pending on availability) and can earn from $20 per hr up to $40 per hr. The majority of classes are held after school hours. Coaches should be available to work finalising times as follows:
Schedules- Monday: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- Tuesday: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- Wednesday: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- Thursday: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- Friday: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- Saturday:
As needed
- Player Development:
Implement engaging and age-appropriate training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. - Foster a love for the game by creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every player feels valued.
- Game Management:
Lead and coordinate team participation in league matches, ensuring a fair and positive experience for all players; emphasize effort, improvement, and enjoyment over strict competition. - Communication:
Maintain open and clear communication with players, parents, and league organizers; provide regular updates on player progress and team activities. - Character Building:
Instill values such as respect, responsibility, and perseverance through soccer-related activities; act as a positive role model for players, promoting good sportsmanship both on and off the field. - Skill Assessments:
Conduct periodic assessments to understand each player's strengths and areas for improvement; tailor coaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Passion for working with young children
- Highly energetic, reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Certified or willing to get CPR and First Aid qualifications
- Ability to pass background check
- Reliable transportation

- Coaching Licenses:
Not mandatory - US Soccer 4v4 and/or 7v7 coaching licenses, or willingness to obtain them
- Willingness to pursue further coaching education and certifications
- Experience:
Previous coaching experience with youth soccer programs is highly desirable - Communication

Basepay range
$5,000.00/yr - $15,000.00/yr
