Are you looking for a short-term opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and friendly environment?
Brockenhurst College are looking to recruit Temporary Enrolment Assistants on a casual basis. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support our busy enrolment period from 19 August 2026 continuing up to 4 weeks, ending no later than 19 September 2026. In return, you will receive a salary of £14.61 per hour (including holiday uplift). We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year.
We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.
As our Temporary Enrolment Assistant
, you will provide quality customer service and administrative support within the Student Services Admin Hub for the Enrolment period.
- Greeting and assisting students and visitors
- Answering queries in person, by phone, and via email
- Processing enrolment paperwork and data entry
- Providing general administrative support
- Preparing documents and letters involving use of Microsoft Word
- Shredding or disposing of confidential waste
- Checking and amending documents or spreadsheets
- Ensuring that the supply of materials is kept up to date
- Carry out duties with efficiency and diplomacy, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Carry out other such duties within the Student Admin Hub and Reception, commensurate with the grade of the post, which may be reasonably allocated.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Previous experience in customer service or admin is desirable but not essential
- A desire to achieve excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and administrative skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Grade C in English and Grade D or above in Mathematics
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
