Lead, Support and Inspire in a Specialist SEN Environment

Join a highly respected residential and educational setting supporting young people with severe autism, Asperger’s profiles, complex learning needs and behaviours linked to their neurodiversity
. Set in the stunning New Forest and close to the coast, the school is known for exceptional care, strong outcomes and a passionate staff team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated professional ready to step into a leadership role while still working closely with young people.

You will support the Team Manager in ensuring a safe, structured and nurturing environment for all young people. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of care, promote independence and wellbeing, and guide staff through best practice.

Key Duties
  • Provide emotional and physical support to young people across residential and educational settings

  • Uphold safeguarding, health and wellbeing standards

  • Offer supervision, coaching and support to care staff

  • Model high professional standards and positive practice

  • Assist with staff recruitment, development and performance

  • Contribute to behaviour support strategies

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

  • Foster positive relationships with young people, families and professionals

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting autistic young people and those with complex needs

  • Full UK driving licence (rural location)

  • Level 3 Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)

  • Understanding of behaviour support, management practice and regulatory standards

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Positive, professional and motivational approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
