The Lecturer in Music and Music Technology Role:
The main purpose of the role is to continually improve the learning experience and achievement of students through effective teaching. Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Music and Music Technology will include:
Teach BTEC Music and lead practical music ensembles as agreed with the Curriculum Leader, 0.5 post, although hours/courses may be subject to change. Provide pastoral support where required. Act as Course Leader, when requested. Prepare and mark student work, monitor progress towards individual targets, keep records and provide timely reports/reviews to students, parents, employers and College managers, as appropriate. Work closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students.
Participate, as a team member, in the development of teaching methods and strategies towards an ethos of continuous improvement. Contribute to the self-assessment process and take responsibility for relevant actions and targets in the development plan for the curriculum area. As our Lecturer in Music and Music Technology ideally you will have:
