Nursery Apprentice

Are you enthusiastic, caring, and eager to begin a rewarding career working with young children? Highwood Nursery is looking for a dedicated and motivated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in a nurturing nursery environment while working towards a recognised Early Years qualification. You will learn from experienced practitioners and develop the skills needed to build a successful career in childcare.

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will:

• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play and planned activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and record children's progress under the guidance of experienced staff.
• Complete apprenticeship training and coursework alongside your practical experience.

• Is willing to work towards an Early Years qualification.
