SNG Healthcare is recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join an experienced inpatient nursing team in Lymington, providing high-quality palliative and end-of-life care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting patients and their families during what can be an extremely difficult time.

You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate care to patients with complex needs while helping them to remain as comfortable and independent as possible.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate inpatient nursing care.
• Support patients with complex palliative and end-of-life care needs.
• Care for patients with cancer and other life-limiting conditions.
• Develop positive and trusting relationships with patients and their families.
• Communicate sensitively with patients and families regarding serious illness and end-of-life care.
• Work closely with doctors, therapists, healthcare assistants and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care, safety and professional practice.
• Support symptom management and provide holistic, person-centred care.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Take part in ongoing training and professional development.

• Minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience as a qualified nurse.
• Current NMC registration (Level 1 or Level
  2).
• Recent experience caring for patients with palliative care needs, cancer or other life-limiting illnesses.
• Experience supporting patients and families through serious illness and end-of-life care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, empathetic and person-centred approach.
• A professional, reliable and responsible attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Previous hospice experience is desirable but not essential. Applications are welcomed from nurses with relevant palliative or end-of-life care experience who are looking to develop their specialist knowledge within a supportive environment.
