CMM Inspector Lymington Permanent £18 - £20.91
Join a well-established precision engineering business supporting high-quality manufacturing operations. As a CMM Inspector, you’ll ensure components meet engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting production and ensuring inspection activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect components using CMM equipment and manual inspection methods.
- Create, adjust and prove out CMM inspection programs.
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
- Evaluate components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports and quality documentation.
- Identify non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
- Review supplier documentation and complete manual inspections.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve issues and minimise delays.
- Previous experience in a CMM Inspector or similar inspection role.
- Proficiency in CMM software for creating inspection programs.
- Strong understanding of CMM best practice and inspection techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competence in IT software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Recognised CMM training or programmer/operator training.
- Early finish on Fridays
- Flexible hours
