Salary: £14.00 – £15.50 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 42 hrs per week. Flexibility required, paid breaks. Shifts finish at 6:30pm.

Vehicle requirement: Access to your own vehicle essential for this role.

• Assist the Head Chef to prepare a variety of home‑cooked meals including fresh cakes from local produce.
• Provide tasty, nutritionally balanced meals across the various mealtimes.
• Work closely with staff to support catering for specific dietary needs and special events.
• Assist with training and development of new starters and cover Candida for Kitchen Assistant when required.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic working environment following Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

• Qualified with City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering/Cookery.
• Previous experience in a similar mobile commis chef or kitchen role.
• Can provide business insurance due to travel during work hours.

• Excellent communicator, team‑player with a can‑do attitude.
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs.
