Activities Lead - Care Home

As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all‑round care and support for residents. The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work closely with the community engagement team to showcase the home and build community connections.

The Activities Lead will also be responsible for updating the home’s social media platforms.

You will be computer literate and able to work closely with our community engagement team to create community links and showcase our Home, you will also be responsible for updating the home’s social media platforms.

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximizing everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

• No specific qualifications are required, but experience in a similar role or working with the elderly would be an advantage. The successful candidate will need to be warm, empathetic, and personable, with strong organizational skills and a driven mindset.
