Construction Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Lumber Construction Foreman to oversee our multi-family construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

• Supervision: Oversee all lumber construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of carpenters and laborers, fostering a positive work environment.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Quality Control: Monitor construction processes to maintain high-quality standards and resolve any issues promptly.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and work completion.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address potential obstacles or delays in the construction process, implementing solutions as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or delays.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or related field preferred.
• 2+ Proven experience as a foreman in lumber construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
