• Education and Experience:
  
  The Technical Studies Instructor must have a minimum of four years of field experience and have a journeyman’s plumbing license. Applicant’s resume must demonstrate this experience and should reflect both residential and commercial work.
• Instructors will need to provide industry-recognized licenses or certifications
• It is preferred that the instructor have a college degree

• Communication and Comprehension:
  Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
  English language proficiency; professional representation of Liberty University; strong organizational skills; computer skills
• Problem Solving:
  Ability to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve routine and complex problems

• May be required to travel
• May be required to sit for desk work or typing
• Regularly required to hear and speak to communicate
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb stairs
• Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop to conduct business
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds; must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Regularly required to perform work related to the trade

This position is in a setting similar to fieldwork, which may include uncontrolled climates, loud environments, and hazardous conditions. In-person work at an off-campus instructional site in Altavista, VA.
