What You've Accomplished

You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

• Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study
• Good knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and practice including Java/Python software developing experience.
• Good communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
• Proficient in the use of Solid Works and CAD process; to perform product design
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making more complex adaptations and modifications
• Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements
• Supports development of new or adapted products, methods, systems and models to provide added value solutions to our customers
• Strong problem identification and problem solving within our combined team

As an Early Career Mechanical Engineer in Lynchburg, VA you'll join a team of diverse engineers to help deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies to support the operation of the commercial nuclear fleet and prepare for the next generation of nuclear power plants.

This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $65,000 - $84,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
