Location: On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia Day‑to‑Day as a Uranium Recovery Tech B:

• Performs a variety of procedurally defined functions related to Uranium Recovery furnace processes
• Preparing chemical solutions as required for recovery processes
• Operating equipment
• Maintaining all safety, regulatory, and criticality standards.

Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate the ability to follow medium to complex written and verbal instructions and procedures
• Must be able to wear full face respirators
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
• Must keep a clean workstation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Work with equipment such as pH meters, hydrometers, flow meters, and volumetric flasks
• Follow complex written and verbal instructions
• DOE “Q” clearance required
• Prior experience with acids is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
