• Provides technical support of manufacturing components and manufacturing processes.
• Interprets and applies technical specifications.
• Prepares technical documents (reports, drawings, work instructions, procedures, etc.).
• Supports and analyzes manufacturing problems with frequent application and use of mechanical engineering, physics, and material science subject matter.
• Interfaces with a large team of technical staff, manufacturing and inspection staff, customers, and sub-vendors.
• Process monitors, trends, and completes monthly/annual reporting.
• Defines and implements process improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must possess proven technical/critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be highly self‑motivated and organized, with keen attention to detail when making decisions.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
