Registered Dietician

Job Title: Registered Dietitian I (Consulting Dietitian)

Location: Hybrid – Onsite in [Facility Location] + Remote

Schedule: 24 hours/week, at least one day onsite; 7a–7p shifts

Contract Duration: Through May 31st

The Registered Dietitian I provides nutritional oversight for residents and patients in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. This role works closely with the culinary manager and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and deliver resident-centered care.

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and patients.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans in accordance with CMS and ACHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families on nutritional needs.
• Participate in care plan meetings and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and company dietary standards.

• CDR credential (Registered Dietitian)
• Virginia licensure or eligibility
• Will take new grads and train

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with clinical teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (CMS, ACHA) and survey processes.
• Experience with care planning, MDS, and Point Click Care  EHR.
• Ability to work with facility care teams and deliver resident-centered care.
