The Business Analyst, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for the development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions for BWXT’s Supply Chain organization. This role will engage in data analysis and develop comprehensive reporting solutions and packages. The position will implement database solutions to support a wide range of reporting needs, including scorecards, dashboards, and other analytical tools.

• Inspect, transform, and model data while maintaining a strong focus on data verification, validation, integration among core and ancillary systems, and quality control.
• Advance business intelligence initiatives, implement advanced analytics, and ensure effective data integration.
• Collaborate with multiple BWXT locations, diverse functional groups, and external vendors to drive strategic and operational improvements.
• Work out of one of the BWXT Government Operations locations with remote options for well-qualified candidates; travel 10-20% of the time.
• Provide end-user support and encourage user adoption. Act as Tier 1 support for end-users of BI tools. Train end users on basic functionality; direct users to training material and resources.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in data analysis, report creation and/or other functional roles using common BI tools including Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Sisense, SAP Crystal Reports, IBM Cognos, Qlik, etc.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools including substantial experience in building and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a project-oriented, timeline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

• Supply chain experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling is a plus.
• Experience extracting and manipulating SAP data is preferred.
