This role is ideal for a versatile legal professional with a strong background in estate planning, business law, and general legal practice who is passionate about guiding clients through life’s most critical decisions.

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring the attorney to be in the office several days a week for client meetings, team collaboration, and court preparation, while providing flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks.

• Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.
• Advise clients on business matters such as entity formation, contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Represent clients in general legal matters, including dispute resolution, real estate transactions, and family business succession planning.
• Develop comprehensive legal strategies addressing clients’ immediate and long‑term objectives.
• Conduct legal research and draft opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their goals and providing clear, actionable advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.

• Active Virginia State Bar license (required).
• Minimum five years of experience in estate planning, business law, or general legal practice.
• Proven ability to draft complex legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust‑based relationships with clients.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and collaboration.

• Experience advising family‑owned businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Familiarity with advanced estate planning techniques, such as irrevocable trusts and charitable giving strategies.
