Summary: Seeking a Technical Buyer to manage purchasing processes for machined and casted components, utilizing ERP systems and supporting various departments.

• BS Degree with 1 year of experience or AS Degree with 5 years of experience in relevant purchasing
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Basic production control/planning knowledge (MRP)
• Preferred

  APICS or SCM certification

• Create and distribute purchase orders for machined and casted components
• Monitor purchase order status and adjust delivery dates as needed
• Serve as liaison for suppliers and provide information/support to Manufacturing, Production Control/Planning, Sales, and Engineering departments
