We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a reputable manufacturing facility located in Madison Heights. Your primary focus will be on executing precision machining tasks to create top-tier components that strictly adhere to technical requirements. We need a detail-focused professional who can manage their own workflow effectively while consistently upholding our high standards for production output and quality.
Qualificationsand Expertise
- Background in the operation of CNC lathes, mills, or comparable industrial machinery
- Competency in interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications
- Hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling adjustments, and modifying CNC programs
- Skilled in utilizing precision measurement tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Knowledge of various cutting tools, machining techniques, and the ability to work within tight tolerances
- Strong mechanical problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to contribute to team goals while maintaining individual productivity
- Reliable professional dedicated to upholding rigorous quality and safety protocols for the benefit of the entire team
- Configure and run CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-precision parts
- Analyze technical drawings and work orders to establish the necessary machining steps
- Modify CNC programming and swap out tooling to ensure optimal machine performance
- Verify part dimensions using precision measurement equipment to ensure accuracy
- Oversee active machining processes to help the team consistently meet quality benchmarks and tolerances
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to reduce machine downtime and improve overall operational efficiency
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and keep the workspace tidy and orderly
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality assurance processes to foster a secure and productive work environment
- Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $22 to $30, based on your specific skills and background
- Shift: Standard daytime hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
