Travel Nursing Job Details

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (6:30am 3:00pm), with weekday and weekend call required
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,740 – $2,930
• Orientation:
  Every other Monday

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience in a hospital or surgical setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Proficient in first scrubbing for CVOR procedures
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• All requested time off must be submitted with application
• Approved declinations for COVID/Flu vaccinations accepted

• Deliver expert nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
• First scrub and circulate in CVOR procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations as scheduled
• Accurately document patient care in the Cerner EMR system
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment in the operating room
