As we begin to rebuild our Neuroendovascular program (previously Neurointerventional) we are seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). This APP will play a key role in the care of patients with complex cerebrovascular and neurovascular conditions across the continuum of care.

As we begin to rebuild our Neuroendovascular program (previously Neurointerventional) we are seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). This APP will play a key role in the care of patients with complex cerebrovascular and neurovascular conditions across the continuum of care.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, procedure-driven specialty alongside fellowship-trained Neuroendovascular surgeons in a collaborative, team-based environment.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cerebrovascular and neurovascular conditions (e.g., ischemic stroke, intracranial aneurysms, AVMs, carotid disease)
• Provide inpatient care including:
  • Pre- and post-procedural assessments
  • Daily rounding in ICU and step-down units
  • Coordination of care with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and nursing teams
• Assist with neurointerventional procedures as appropriate such as lumbar puncture, blood patch, myelogram (non-invasive procedures)
• Participate in stroke alerts
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Document care in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner
