American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications along with at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Details- Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
- Charge nurse responsibilities possible if willing
- Floating required to Intermediate and Med/Surg units, with travelers floated first as needed
- Contract options available for 13, 16, or 20 weeks
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Candidates with pending certifications will be considered
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the unit specialty required; 2-3 years overall experience preferred
- Biweekly orientation held on Mondays
- Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
- Nicotine-free campus
- Scrubs of any color permitted with professional appearance; child-friendly print tops, scrub jackets, and lab coats allowed
