Provides scheduled or "as needed" assistance in food production and/or service areas for dining operations.

• Ensures highest levels of sanitation in food preparation, serving standards and service area to exceed expectations of the Virginia Health Department.
• Provides coverage or assistance as needed in Dining Services to include, but not limited to: pantry, beverage, menu production, service, dish room, pot wash and catering.
• Performs any other related duties as may be required.

Lifting 25 lbs, prolonged standing.

• Either previous experience in a service position in a fine dining, commercial or noncommercial restaurant operation is desired.
• Candidates must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
