Sales Counselor

Overview

Sales Counselor position at Everstory Partners. Responsible for selling pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, cemetery services, property and merchandise. Assists families with funeral selections and attends services.

• Estimated first‑year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $45,000 - $55,000
• Uncapped commission and earnings.
• Sells funeral services and inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.
• Assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
• Generates leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.
• Training pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing or Sales.
• Preferred 1 year of sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; offsite appointments and mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
