Security Event Staff at Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA

Rhino Sports & Entertainment Services, a division of REVELxp, is a premier event staffing company specializing in delivering exceptional guest experiences at collegiate, professional sporting events and venues across the country. We are looking for reliable and outgoing individuals to join our team! Traveling work opportunities may be available for football games, regional concerts, and NASCAR events.

As a Security Event Staff Member at the Berglund Center, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for all attendees. You will be stationed at key access points, crowd control zones, and other critical areas to monitor activity, enforce venue policies, and assist guests as needed.

• Check credentials and assist with crowd movement when needed.
• Resolve issues to ensure a smooth and secure event experience.
• Provide guidance to guests and enforce venue policies.
• Operate in fast-paced event environments, possibly outdoors.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• HS Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Prior experience in event security, guest services, or crowd management preferred
• Be able to stand for long periods of time (outside, possibly in the elements)
• Must have reliable transportation and be available to work on weekends and nights
• Strong customer service skills
• FOR SECURITY POSITIONS:
  Have a current unarmed security license or be willing to go through the process to receive one.
