Driver Non-CDL Building Supply

Summary

Drives gasoline or diesel-powered van/truck combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Drives van/truck to destination.

Inspects van/truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.

Maintains driver log according to I.C. regulations.

Counts items on the truck when loading and unloading to secure proper amounts and material are correct.

Assists workers in loading and unloading truck.

Talks to customer and helps in anyway to complete order. Ask for feedback from customers.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Driving Record will be screened for this position.

Medical Card may be required.
