Your new role

The role of the Teaching Assistant is to work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion. You will support students to access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. This position is vital to help students reach their full potential.

What you’ll need to succeed

Applicants should have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it. You will demonstrate patience, calmness and empathy, be able to engage children and inspire a love of learning, and support a range of pupil learning needs.
