HGV Technician

Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, a reputable company based in the Southampton area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £49,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours of Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00).

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

• Previous working experience within the role
• Ideally fully qualified, but newly qualified Technicians with the right attitude will also be considered.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application

• Competitive basic salary up to £49,000 depending on experience and skill set
• OTE (On-Target Earnings) of approximately £50,000
• Paid overtime opportunities and occasional Saturday work at half pay
• Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17:00 - Coffee breaks & Paid Lunch Break at 13:00 (Lunch can range between 30 mins - 60 mins) (Team regularly cook lunch together, and sit down and have a hot meal)
