Accounts Receivable Analyst – Hybrid (Lyndhurst, NJ)
Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 (potential stretch to $85,000)
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days in office per week
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a global retail organization. This role is critical in managing AR processes, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of AR workflows, and experience working with major retailers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze AR aging reports and identify trends impacting collections and DSO
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend process improvements
- Support month‑end close, audits, and internal reporting
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve account issues
- Manage collections: follow up on outstanding balances, resolve payment discrepancies
- Handle cash applications and reconcile daily receipts
- Serve as point of contact for billing and payment inquiries
- Minimum 5 years in Accounts Receivable or related finance roles
- Strong understanding of chargebacks, deductions, and retailer compliance processes
- Experience with major retailers (Amazon, Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite)
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
