Educator Pay Rate: $15.00–$18.00 (based on education and experience)
Program
Hours:
Monday–Friday 6:45 am‑8:30 am and/or 1:45 pm‑6:00 pm (your schedule may vary based on business needs)
You’ll drive the mission by:
- Daily Program Meetings
:
Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage collaboration. - Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities
:
Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Lead structured daily fitness and educational activities for all ages. - Leading by Example
:
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management. - Prioritize Safety and Joy
:
Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance and incidents. - Communication
:
Effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements
- First‑Aid and CPR in‑person
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- Proof of MMR
- 18+ years of age
- Proof of High School diploma/GED required
- Enrollment in or completion of a two‑year career‑technical program in child development, or a high school senior enrolled in a college credit program in child development
- OR:
Enrollment or completion of a two‑year career‑technical program with a signed statement of enrollment from the training program coordinator
