Seasonal Part-Time Grounds Crew Member

Job Overview

A+ Land Management is hiring a dependable seasonal landscape laborer to assist with fall leaf cleanups, with the possibility of continued work through the winter.

You will work alongside the owner, operating leaf blowers, gathering leaves, pulling tarps, and loading debris. This is an active outdoor position for someone who shows up on time, follows directions, and takes pride in completing quality work.

Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld and backpack leaf blowers.
• Rake and gather leaves from lawns, landscape beds, and other designated areas.
• Pull loaded tarps and assist with loading leaves and debris.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and equipment.
• Assist with general property cleanups and leave work areas clean.
• Follow safety procedures and handle equipment responsibly.
• Treat customers, their properties, and fellow crew members with respect.
• If continuing through winter, assist with snow shoveling, walkway clearing, and salt application.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and work at a steady pace.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including walking, bending, lifting, and pulling tarps.
• Willingness to work outdoors in cold and changing weather conditions.
• Landscaping, leaf cleanup, or snow removal experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

Hours vary based on scheduled jobs, workload, and weather. Multiple properties may be serviced during a workday.

Winter work, if available, may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and availability around snowfall.

You’ll work directly with the owner of a growing local company, learn hands-on property maintenance skills, and see the results of your work at every job. This role offers competitive starting pay, variety throughout the workday, and the opportunity to build experience across fall cleanup and winter snow services.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
