As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Services in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you must meet driver policy requirements.

You will remain visible during patrols, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with everyone you encounter as you support a caring and reliable atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming and secure environment.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
