Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
Must be able to provide student PLIT.
