Medical Sales Account Executive – Rotech Healthcare

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and grow referral relationships within hospitals, physician clinics, and other service areas.
  • Educate healthcare providers about Rotech's products, services, and value‑based care.
  • Own your rural territory: prospect, present, and close new accounts.
  • Partner with our local team to ensure seamless service.
  • Report sales activity and territory trends to management via call planner.
  • Conduct in‑person visits to referral sources within the assigned territory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • Background check – individualized assessment per duties.
    • Drug screen (when applicable).
    • Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing (when applicable).
    • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean record (when applicable).
    • High school diploma or GED (required).
    • Four‑year college degree preferred.
    • Experience in respiratory or medical sales preferred.
    • Leadership experience in other areas or fields.
    • Proven sales performer – 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales preferred; new college graduates welcome.
    • Independent, resourceful, self‑motivated, and capable of working autonomously.
    • Excellent communicator – ability to simplify complex topics and build trust.
    • Willingness to travel; ability to conduct in‑person visits throughout the assigned rural territory.
    • CRM experience advantageous.

    • Motivated and self‑driven with a history of sales success.
    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Effective communicator in English (oral & written).
    • Organized, detail‑oriented, with strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and handling sensitive information.
    Technical Proficiency
    • Proficient in email, internet research, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
    • Basic use of office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone).
    Physical Requirements
    • Occasional lifting and carrying of office equipment.
    • Required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and listen for extended periods.
    • Requires close visual focus on small print on computer or tablet.
