Eliot is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). Eliot’s CBHC program serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. This position supports the program through comprehensive administrative and clerical assistance, ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greets guests and visitors, and responds to general inquiries about CBHC
- Provides administrative and clerical support for the program, including correspondence, data input, scanning, assembling EMR files, and other general duties.
- Provide assistance to Clinical staff in scheduling clients for appointments, including reminder calls and correspondence.
- Registers new patients and updates existing patients’ information, including the collection of all eligibility documents
- Provides support to clients in completing required documentation for treatment
- Assists in maintaining client medical records including but not limited to verifying and updating all demographic and insurance information at the time of service.
- Collects copayments day of appointment and track all outstanding balances to report to management
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications.
- Must possess and convey effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and think calmly in a fast paced environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm
Hourly Rate:
$20.18 - $20.18 USD
